Susie went upstairs into the second bathroom, holding some old clothing which happened to be in her size. "Geez... this is lame." she grumbled. She slipped her hoodie off, and then her shirt, before looking at herself in the mirror. Arms scarred, chest bruised, and hair an absolute mess, y'know, the typical stuff, albeit with a new addition of a very slight, genuine, smile. "Heh... Been a while since I've actually, looked at my reflection..." she mumbled, maybe these sets of scars will be the last? Hopefully. "Still look badass, of course." she remarks to herself, before slipping on the church clothing, looking at herself again with a laugh. "Aaaaand that no longer applies-- geez, Toriel, surely there's less, dorky, church clothes." she jokes.

Taking a deep breath in, she walks down the stairs, Kris already dressed proper. "Damn, how come your clothes look normal?" she remarked, Kris, as usual, not seeming to reply. "Sorry, Susie, I only had Asriel's old clothes laying around..." Toriel remarks as she walks down the stairs as well, adorning her choir cloak. "But, aww, you two look adorable! Don't you think so Kris?" she says in an almost toothache inducing sweetness. "...Sorry about this." Kris mumbled in a joking manner to Susie, causing her to just roll her eyes. "Whatever, dumbass." she replies, as Toriel grabs the keys to her car. "Come on now dears, service is about to begin!" she says, leading the group of three to the car, as she begins the drive over to the church.

"...The church doesn't seem to be *that* far from your house." Susie says quietly. "Why doesn't she just walk there?" Kris remained silent, staring out the window absently. "Hey, you ok?" Susie asked, glancing over at them. "...yeah." they said, in a tone unfamiliar to her. "You sound a bit different, don't tell me you got sick! We didn't even leave the house." Susie says, joking about their adventures last night. "...not sick. In fact, I feel, better." Kris replied. "...I just, want to see Noelle." they say, quieter than the words before.

"What, does she sing really good? Or, are you just ready to hang out with someone less cool after all that hero work? Don't worry, I totally get it, you can only handle so much awesomeness in one go." Susie said, followed by a soft chuckle. "...preferably I would hang out with you both. Just, doing normal things. Having fun." Kris mumbled, their hand shaking slightly. "I just want to make sure she's okay, after..." they say, in a shaky tone. "Oh, yeah. I guess that makes sense. Well, alright. Hey, maybe she knows something about the shelter, too!" Susie remarked. Kris didn't reply. They didn't want to think about that right now. Or, ever, really... Why did she...

"We've arrived!" Toriel says excitedly, unlocking the doors. "You two just sit somewhere at the altar, I'll see you in just a second." she continued, heading into the choir room. Kris got out the car in a hurry, following shortly behind her. "Geez. You'd think Noelle was in danger or something." Susie joked to herself, closing the car door behind her as she entered the church as well.

Susie finds Kris sitting in the back, and sits next to them. Kris watches the opening, seeing Noelle sing with joy and cheer. She seems to be okay, and that's, good... That's, good. As the singing ends and the sermon begins, Kris drifts to sleep, a weight being lifted from their mind. "Damn, are these speeches that boring, Kris?" Susie jests, punching Kris' shoulder playfully, before noticing they really did pass out. Reluctantly, she continues to listen to the sermon in quietude.

The host is asleep, and within proximity. You may...
